I amdrawn to bioengineering and biomaterial engineering for their potential to revolutionize sustainable practices by harnessing biological processes and materials. In particular, I am interested in developing bio-based materials and biopolymers that offer alternatives to traditional plastics, thereby reducing environmental impact and promoting a circular economy. Exploring cellular and molecular design principles within bioengineering excites me, as it allows for the creation of tailored solutions that can be applied across multiple sectors, from healthcare to environmental management. By integrating these fields with waste valorization, I am motivated to discover ways to transform agricultural and industrial by-products into high-value biomaterials. My goal is to contribute to a future where engineered biological systems play a central role in addressing global challenges like pollution, resource depletion, and the need for sustainable materials
